I got and still get many mails from people all over the world in case of an English translation of my biography of Carlos Kleiber, but at the moment the editors are not shure about Carlos Kleibers popularity and also are anxious about costs of translating such a large book. In Japan nobody bothers about that, one edition follows the other. So, I only can tell you, wait and will see what happens ...

Ich bekomme sehr viel Anfragen aus der ganzen Welt, wann denn nun eine englische Übersetzung meiner Biografie über Carlos Kleiber erscheint. Im Moment aber scheint es so, dass Zweifel an Kleibers Popularität und Bedenken wegen der Kosten einer Übersetzung eines so umfangreichen Buchs dies hemmen oder verzögern. In Japan kümmert das niemand, dort erscheint eine neue Auflage der Übersetzung nach der anderen. Nun, wir werden sehen wie es sich entwickelt ...
