This is my comment for BBC messageboard in case of the strange rumour that Carlos in fact should be son of Alban Berg.
I researched about Carlos for many years, got a lot of intimate material and spoke to many people, also relatives and near friends of Carlos. I did not find any hint in case of Berg. I think its only a rumour. Because many people in Austria did not love Erich Kleiber, they would very much prefer Carlos to be a son of Berg.

Hallo,as I mentioned on my page, the japasese edition of my book will be published in July 2009 (first part) by Ongaku no Tomo Sha, second part in 2010.But I got and am still receiving many requests in case of an english one. There where long negotiations till 2009 with an interested english publisher. But at last there was no license agreement because of some reasons not concerning the contents of the book.Of couse we are looking forward to find a publishe...
